"Drew Slatton was an ardent Chevalier des Grieux, and he made the big moments ring with passion.”
- Charles Ward, The Houston Chronicle
"There was roof-rattling vocalism from the principal singers. Tenor Drew Slatton as des Grieux has the voluminous reckless abandon of a Corelli/Tucker and throw in some del Monaco. He also is dashing and handsome. My favorite part is Act II's 'Tu, tu, amore, tu', and the singers were very passionate with it."
